~~~Dash Handsome: Private Dick~~~
An RPG by Gustaff
Dash is played like a graphic adventure (Monkey Island, Leisure Suit
Larry, ect.) And most of the game play involves using key items at
certain points. When you feel an item can be used at a certain
situation, press [] then select "Use" and pick the item you think will
work. If you were right, an event will be triggered, if not, it will
"Dash N/A" will appear.
Every useable item in Dash will be a curative one, unbreakable and
undropable, healing 1 "N/A",and since there is no HP in Dash, it's
just to keep useable items from being ghosted and spoiling the
challenge of what is to be used where.
In Dash's office backroom you can acsess the "Inventory Viewer", here,
you'll be able to obtain more detailed information about the items you
are carrying, and you'll also be able to combine items with each other.
If you believe items will combine, stand bellow the main part and try
adding the other part by "using" it from your menu.
The dungeons in Dash are a bit different, but a few things to watch for
are:
Buttons- Pressing them will change the surroundings, eliminate silver
crates, start an event, ect. These come in different colors, red being
the most common, green buttons usually won't activate unless weighed
down by a create.
Switch- Like buttons, but usually have bigger effects.
Silver Crate- an obstacle, plain and simple. Look for a switch to get
by these.
Wood Crate- These can be picked up and carried with Dash. They can be
used as stepping stools or to weight down green buttons.
Trickplate- A chipped tile, some times they glide along the ground,
stepping on them could be good, or could also set off a trap.
Key- Each key will open one locked gate. Simply touch a gate, and it
will unlock.
Thankies for trying my demo, be sure to keep your save file, as it can
